Aerial Yoga is a fun twist on yoga poses combined with arobatics as you are suspended from the ceiling, standing into the silks or supported by the silks with your feet on the floor.
Barre Sculpt Yoga
Barre Yoga is graceful and elegant, yet it's a workout! It combines yoga with barre movements (ballet warm-ups) while targeting and toning specific muscle groups with concentrated isometric movements that work the muscle to fatigue and then stretching the muscle to lengthen it. Burn fat and sculpt and tone your seat, arms, thighs and abs.
Chakra Balance Yoga
Balance your 7 chakras through poses specific to each area of the body. Chakras are our energy centres with emotional & physical connections to our mind, body & soul. This class is active & relaxing.
Hatha yoga is basically what all yoga is. The class is a classical approach to yogic breathing exercises and postures. It is suitable for all levels.
Hip & Twists
Hips tend to be the area in the body where we hold a great deal of tension. Here you will have the opportunity to focus on breath & release of tension in the hips. Twisting provides you the opportunity to detox your organs. You will leave class feeling uplifted & cleared of negative energy that boggs you down.
Children improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others.
Prenatal yoga will nurture your pregnant body and growing baby with strengthening postures, essential breath work and much needed relaxation. Connect with your body’s innate birth wisdom and bond with your baby as you awaken the Goddess within to support you on this magical journey into motherhood. Suitable for all levels and stages of pregnancy.

Strengthen your core, improve your posture, build confidence and relax using inspirational yoga postures, breath techniques and meditation. Meet other new moms and dads, and create community.
Focus on breath-work & meditation following a very gentle & simple set of poses to bring you into the state needed to grow in mind, body & spirit.
Restorative Yoga & Candlelight Meditation
Relax & reduce stress as you hold each gentle pose (not usually more than 5 per class) using strategically placed props like blankets, bolsters, and soothing lavender eye pillows to help you sink into deep relaxation. The meditation is guided to assist you in your path to a clear state of mind to promote healing & holistic health
Stretch & Twist It Out (Yoga for Athletes)
Lengthen your muscles through yoga poses targeted to your body‘s needs, flowing quick enough to keep even the busiest minds settled.
A morning vinyasa flow routine to awaken the body physically, mentally & spiritually.
Use barre & ariel movements & yoga postures to build inner and outer strength and flexibility, deep relaxation, self-esteem & body awareness.

Yin / Yang Yoga
Yin yoga is a quiet, meditative, passive, slow yoga practice focused on lengthening connective tissues and is meant to complement yang yoga—your muscle-forming active asana practice. Perfect for athletes and those seeking a greater understanding of their body.
The Therapeutic Yoga class offered at Karma Lifestyle Yoga Studio is designed to provide a gentle and educational class for those who have limited mobility, are rehabilitating from an injury, are living with a chronic condition or are simply looking for a nurturing and restorative class.
With a small class size of 5-6 students, Leslie is able to provide lots of manual adjustments and assistance to allow a safe and therapeutic experience. We take our time transitioning between postures and use an abundance of props to allow everyone access and comfort in each pose.
Through her training as a Certified Yoga Teacher, a Kinesiologist, and a Physiotherapist she has developed an advanced knowledge of how the body functions and loves to pass this understanding on to her students, often discussing basic anatomy, the mechanics of movement and ways to incorporate Yoga in to your everyday life.
Classes run in 8 week registered sessions, allowing Leslie, to gain a thorough understanding of all her student’s abilities and to plan each class to suit their specific needs. This leads to improved functional movement, decreased stress, decreased pain and/or dysfunction, prevention of future injuries, and overall optimal health.
Power Hips focuses on strengthening legs, hips and lower back while adding flexibility, balance and coordination through a unique combination of YOGA, PILATES and NIA.
A unique movement form that combines Dance Arts (Jazz, Modern & Duncan), with Martial Arts (Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, & Tai Chi), and Healing Arts (Alexander Technique, Feldenkreis Method & Yoga) into choreographed routines danced to eclectic music designed to increase flexibility, agility, mobility, strength and stability, as well as tap into your emotional, mental and physical realms. Fast paced and challenging, Nia is a total body fitness class that engages the cardiovascular system in an hour long workout that begins slowly, increases to a crescendo and ends in a cool down, opening the door for self-awareness and reflection. Taught by Elizabeth Kiser, a certified Nia Black Belt.
