Karma Spice is a delicate blend of flavours: cardamon, cinnamon, cloves, corriander, cumin, curry, tumeric, garam masala, ginger, mustard & nutmeg.
This blend is perfect to use in my Kitchari Recipe, stir it in with a can of chickpeas or use on meats. If playing with spices isn't your thing, but you love flavour in your food give this a try. You can also add more of your favourite spices or intensify the heat factor by adding chili seeds or cayenne pepper.
First time user here, definitely not the last. To begin, the aroma is invigorating and inviting. Marinated chicken breast with yogurt overnight, perfect balance of flavours. The taste is mouthwatering!! Can’t wait to try it on roasted chickpeas and in soups this winter. ❤️
I often cook plant-based meals and tried the Karma Spice in my veggie stir fry - LOVED IT! I could tell it was perfect by the aroma before I even added it to my dish :)
I love Indian food but, sometimes it does not agree with me. My Indian friend told me a few years ago that the spices have to be blended correctly and all from the same region in India. So, I purchased a packet from Francesca, because I know she has been to India so she would know blends! I have used them a couple of times now, just for chick peas and for rice, oh and in a squash soup. The fragrance throughout the house is delicate and pleasant, and so is the affect on my tummy! So delicious! Try them!
